Water Tank Level Monitor

Show the tank level on an LCD and beep when it is nearly full.

Water Tank Level Monitor — main component

Overview

The probe's stacked sensors read the water height as a stepped analog value. The display maps it to bars and a buzzer warns before overflow.

Build Steps

  1. Drop in the probe

Fix the sensor board at the top of the tank with the probes hanging down to just above the base.

  2. Wire the board

Power it from 5 V and take the analog output to A0; keep the wiring away from pumps to reduce noise.

  3. Map to bars

Take the dry and full readings, then draw four or five blocks on the 16×2 LCD for the level.

  4. Add the alarm

Sound the buzzer when the level crosses your high threshold and stop it once it drops again.
